Prophet stellte 2018 sein <em>Marketing Maturity Model<\/em> vor, um Marketing zu transformieren und Wachstum zu f\u00f6rdern. Im Jahr 2025 wurde das Modell aktualisiert, um CMOs bei der Navigation durch das Zeitalter der K\u00fcnstlichen Intelligenz zu unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Modell kartiert Gen-AI-F\u00e4higkeiten \u00fcber acht Marketingfunktionen \u2013 von Kundensegmentierung bis Kampagnenorchestrierung \u2013 entlang drei Reifestufen. Gen-AI erm\u00f6glicht Hyperpersonalisierung, pr\u00e4diktive Segmentierung und autonome Umsetzung, wodurch Marken schneller und intelligenter auf ihre Kund:innen zugeschnittene Botschaften entwickeln k\u00f6nnen. Gen-AI ist nicht nur ein Werkzeug, sondern ein transformativer Treiber f\u00fcr Leistung und Innovation im Marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In unserer Beratungsarbeit sehen wir bereits zahlreiche Beispiele daf\u00fcr, wie Gen-AI Marketingverantwortliche dazu bef\u00e4higt, das M\u00f6gliche neu zu definieren \u2013 selbst in unsicheren Zeiten. Doch wie weit ist die DACH-Region laut unserem <em>Marketing Maturity Model<\/em> typischerweise entwickelt? Welche Chancen, Herausforderungen und Entwicklungen pr\u00e4gen hier den Wandel? Hier sind drei zentrale Strategien, mit denen CMOs Spannungen in Chancen verwandeln k\u00f6nnen:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-wie-weit-sind-wir-jetzt-gen-ai-reifegrad-in-der-dach-region-verstehen-nbsp\">1. Wie weit sind wir jetzt? Gen-AI-Reifegrad in der DACH-Region verstehen.\u202f<em>\u202f<\/em>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Unabh\u00e4ngig davon, ob Ihre Kundenbasis haupts\u00e4chlich national ist oder Sie auf globaler Ebene konkurrieren \u2013 es ist hilfreich zu verstehen, wie DACH-Organisationen im Allgemeinen aus Sicht der Marketing-Reife aufgestellt sind. Gerade im DACH-Raum zeigt sich ein deutlicher Aufholbedarf: In vielen Unternehmen ist Marketing traditionell weniger stark verankert als im angels\u00e4chsischen Raum. Die meisten Marketingfunktionen befinden sich noch in fr\u00fchen Reifestufen \u2013 zwischen \u201eExperimentieren\u201c und \u201eSkalieren\u201c. Strategisch integriertes, datengetriebenes Marketing auf den h\u00f6chsten Reifestufen bleibt bislang die Ausnahme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Kontext der Gen-AI-Adoption konzentrieren sich deutsche Unternehmen gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils auf Stufe 1 \u2013 erste Erkundungen und Experimente. Eine vollst\u00e4ndige Integration oder Transformation ist bislang noch selten. \u201cAutonomous Marketing\u201d ist heute noch eher richtungsweisender Nordstern, aber nicht konkretes Etappenziel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wichtig ist hier sicher eine gro\u00dfe Offenheit f\u00fcr die Breite m\u00f6glicher Gen-AI-L\u00f6sungen von der Insight-Generierung, \u00fcber Synthetic Personas bis hin zum Einsatz in Kreation und Content-Generierung. Um dann auch konsequent den n\u00e4chsten Automatisierungsschritt mittels Agentic AI zu gehen, beispielsweise \u00fcber ChatGPT Agent Builder oder ChatGPT Apps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-massnahmen-freisetzen-die-wirkung-entfalten-nbsp\">2. Ma\u00dfnahmen freisetzen, die Wirkung entfalten<em>\u202f<\/em>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Marketing und Vertrieb ist in vielen deutschen Unternehmen \u2013 insbesondere im Mittelstand \u2013 noch nicht auf Augenh\u00f6he. Gerade im Zeitalter der Gen-AI-getriebenen Transformation ist die Integration dieser beiden Funktionen entscheidend. Sie ist eine zentrale Voraussetzung f\u00fcr die Modernisierung von Marketingf\u00e4higkeiten und -denkweisen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Da Marketing zunehmend die Rolle eines Wachstumstreibers \u00fcbernimmt, wird insbesondere im deutschen Kontext die Spannung zwischen Wachstum und Effizienz zur zentralen Herausforderung. Diese Spannung muss sich in jeder Gen-AI-getriebenen Weiterentwicklung der Marketingfunktion widerspiegeln. Es geht nicht nur um Automatisierung oder Kostensenkung \u2013 sondern darum, intelligenteres, schnelleres und wirkungsvolleres Wachstum zu erm\u00f6glichen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-in-ihre-gen-ai-roadmap-investieren-nbsp\">3. In Ihre Gen-AI-Roadmap investieren\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dies f\u00fchrt zu einer entscheidenden Frage: Kann Gen-AI tats\u00e4chlich zum Unternehmenswachstum beitragen \u2013 durch bessere Insights, st\u00e4rkere Kundenbindung und effizientere Neukundengewinnung? Wenn Marketing in Deutschland zu einem echten Wachstumstreiber werden soll, muss Gen-AI dieses Wachstum auf messbare und glaubw\u00fcrdige Weise unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein Beispiel w\u00e4re ein deutlicher Automatisierungs-Push bei Micro-Neukundenkampagnen oder auch deutlich st\u00e4rker automatisierte Lead-Nurturing-Strecken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abschlie\u00dfend ist es bei der Entwicklung von Gen-AI Roadmaps entscheidend, dass diese nicht ausschlie\u00dflich auf Technologie fokussieren.
